The proposal of the International Conference on Fiber and Polymer Biotechnology is to promote the scientific, professional and social exchange between researchers, students, research institutes, governmental entities and industries who are active in the field of textiles, fiber and polymer biotechnology. Its objective is to contribute to the growth and consolidation of the scientific community and the technological development in these fields through scientific education and formation of a critical mass of graduate and post-graduate students and future professionals in this area, by means of dissemination and publication of scientific academic and technological works.
